Back in the days of junk journaling magic

When I was younger, junk journals were a cool thing. They were so much fun. Growing up poor didn’t leave a lot of money for frivolous things, so we used what we had on hand. Mine weren’t elaborate and were mainly done in school notebooks. Any piece of paper, art, or scrap of something went into those pages. It was creative art. And it was fun and calming. A couple of months ago, I read an article on how creativeness helped with burnout. So, I started one. At first, I used what I had on hand. Well, let me tell you, it came out looking pretty UN-creative. I actually found it hard to create something. After a lot more tries, I felt I was getting the hang of it. As I was doing it more and more, I started to think. What else could I use to make my art? My junk journaling days were back, with gusto and an adult paycheck! 😁
